Photography is an art and I am first and foremost a visual artist. I think wedding photography should be fun, creative AND affordable. Your wedding images should capture all of the things that make your wedding day unique show you at your most beautiful. I believe I offer something special that sets me apart me from all of the other wedding photographers in Los Angeles and Orange County – the vision and creative energy of an experienced photojournalist. I am a former staff photographer at the Orange County Register and I now focus my experience and passion capturing timeless and unforgettable images of your wedding, sweet sixteen, or quinceanera.

Many photographers today claim to shoot in a “photojournalistic style” but the truth is that virtually none of them has any actual experience as a photojournalist. During my career as a photojournalist, I was constantly challenged to bring a fresh perspective to familiar subjects in order to create images worthy of the front page. I now bring that wealth of experience to capturing all the moments of your wedding day and creating a priceless set of photographs that you and your family will treasure forever.

I believe that I offer the best value in wedding photography that you are likely to find anywhere. The rates for my packages are very affordable and always include your engagement or pre-event portrait session – something most other photographers charge extra for. In addition, you have my guarantee that I will shoot and finish every image personally. I believe this is the only way to ensure that my vision is fully realized in the photographs you receive.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised and have spent most of my life in Southern California. I received my bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a Master of Arts from UC Santa Barbara. When I am not creating images, I love to travel. So far my favorite destinations have been Hawaii, Mexico, Tahiti, and Puerto Rico. France, Spain, Italy, England, Australia and other islands in the Caribbean are next on my list. I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and playing at the beach and I’m always up to see a good movie. My family is the center of my universe. I thank my beautiful wife Cynthia for supporting everything I do and my chihuahua Maui for being my adorable spoiled brat.
