Beautiful is the word that best describes this wedding day. Beautiful couple, beautiful families, beautiful venue, beautiful details and, yes, an all around beautiful day. It seemed as though there was no end to the gorgeousness at this wedding and it was a joy to capture it all for Zarina and Greg. And did I mention there was also lots of Love. A wonderful wedding day like this is a celebration of the bringing together of two families not just two wonderful people and there was Love in abundance on Zarina and Greg’s special day. Zarina did an amazing job with all of the details. From the stunning black and white bridesmaid dresses to the chic handbags to the individual headpieces and accessories everything fit together perfectly. From start to finish this wedding was the epitome of style and elegance. The Wedgewood Champions Club at the Retreat is absolutely one of my favorite venues and it definitely lived up to it’s reputation for outstanding service and an incomparable experience. What an unbelievable wedding day and what a wonderful couple. Hard to put into words what a magical experience this was. From the moment I met Michele and Kenny I knew that they were special and that there wedding day would be something to remember. Their engagement session in Laguna Beach was one of the most fun and relaxed ever and I really felt that the images showed what a special love these two share. Their wedding day was one I will never forget filled with gorgeous details, an incredible view, wonderful food and the love of family and friends. Dee and the ladies of No Worries Event Planning did an amazing job of putting together an elegant and beautiful celebration with flowers by Peony and Plum and a sumptuous reception at Michael’s Tuscany Room. And did I mention the shoes? I have seen a lot of wedding shoes but Michele’s shoes by Nina of New York are just breathtaking. And I can’t forget the stunning bridal gown customized by my friend Debbie Taylor at Taylor’s Lace. This wedding was a joy to be a part of from start to finish and here are some of my favorite images from the day. Thank you Michele and Kenny for choosing me to document your special day.

Wendy and Jose were married in the beautiful St. Mary’s church in Los Angeles followed by a gorgeous reception at The Odyssey. In between we snuck away for some unique bridal party portraits at a secret location in the Hollywood Hills. And when you bride rocks a pair of Batman themed Converse high tops to get to the portrait location you know your going to have an amazing day :) This was an elegant celebration from start to finish and the view from The Odyssey overlooking the city lights was breathtaking. Special thank you to Brooke and the ladies at Orange Blossom Special Events for putting together an absolutely unforgettable day.

What a gorgeous wedding day this was! We love Palm Springs and always get excited anytime we get the chance to document a wedding in this beautiful oasis. We had so much fun shooting Sara and Jonathan’s engagement session in Balboa Park in San Diego and I just knew that their wedding day was going to be special. Following a lovely ceremony at Desert Chapel in Palm Springs the celebration moved to Desert Willow Resort in Palm Desert.  Every detail Sara and Jonathan chose for their day was simply perfect – from the Mickey and Minnie Mouse Disney themed cake topper to the elegant table settings – it was a wonderful celebration of their love. Cynthia and Marvin had a beautiful ceremony at the gorgeous First Congregational Church of Long Beach followed by a reception at the incomparable The Madison. Cynthia’s sense of style is simply impeccable and this wedding was a photographer’s dream. From the shoes, to the dress, to the flowers ( thank you Pixies Petals ), to all the amazing details this wedding was fabulous from beginning to end. Eden and Tim’s wedding day was a beautiful reminder of what makes weddings so special. The ceremony and reception were held at their church with the first look and wedding party portraits at a private residence in Orange and from beginning to end this day was about love. They were surrounded by family and friends as they exchanged their vows under the bright Spring sunshine and everything about that moment  - and their day – was perfect. It was an honor and a privilege to document this wedding for Eden and Tim and I wish them every happiness as they start their new lives together.

There are so many reasons I love documenting weddings. Most of all I enjoy sharing the day with two really wonderful people and capturing a little bit of the love that happens along the way. I had such an amazing time photographing Vanessa and Rick’s engagement session and I just knew that their wedding day would be even better. Weddings are so joyful because they are one of those rare days when you can gather the people you care about around you and celebrate how special it is to have the love of family and friends. What an unbelievable wedding day this was. It was so perfect from start to finish that you wish every wedding day was like this one. Rhea and Devin are an absolutely beautiful couple  and it was truly a privilege to share this day with them. We had a great time strolling Laguna Beach for their engagement session and seeing them together in front of the camera I knew immediately their wedding day was going to be something special. When a couple celebrates their wedding day surrounded by the love of family and friends something magical happens and there really are no words to describe it. “Pure joy” is as close as I can come to expressing it and I really hope it shows in these images.
