It’s hard to believe Michele, Kenny and I haven’t know each other for years. I’ve been a Laguna Beach wedding photographer and lifestyle photographer for several years and photographed dozens of couples but their engagement session was so fun and relaxed it felt like hanging out with old friends. I love photographing couples in love and this was easily one of my favorite engagement sessions. We spent a beautiful afternoon and evening in San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Beach and my favorite thing about these images is the way their love really shines through. The Los Rios District in San Juan Capistrano is cute, fun, and super picturesque – perfect for engagement photography. This house with the white picket fence is one of my favorites and the atmosphere is really something special. And if there is a playground available during your engagement session I highly recommend taking a few photos there. There is just something about a playground that brings out the child in everyone. Thousand Steps Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Southern California. The walk down is quick – the walk up will make you wish for an escalator. Seriously. And if you are lucky enough there just may be sea cave that can be explored. (Of course, hanging off of the lifeguard tower with one hand to get one last image was pretty fun too :)).
